Azerbaijan sells vaccine?!

About 4.2 million people have been vaccinated in Azerbaijan, which means that 1.1 million people are covered with immunities.

Given that there are at least 7 million people in the country, it means that only 17 percent of the population is immune. Under such circumstances, the news comes as the government begins to sell the vaccine. For example, according to the official statement, Azerbaijan sent 50,000 doses of vaccine to Uzbekistan. Apparently, it is planned to sell vaccines to other countries.

The question arises: why does 20 percent of its population not receive such a vaccine, and why does not the country sell the vaccine to a third country?

According to the information given to Paralel.az From the operational Decisionkoh under the Cabinet of ministers, Azerbaijan has enough vaccine to provide daily vaccination: "because orders are delayed, more vaccines have been supplied at the current stage than demand-the vaccine ordered for April is now entering the country. As you know, keeping the vaccine also requires costs, vaccines should be kept at a minus 70 degrees. Therefore, vaccines that exceed the demand are given to friendly countries that can not get it."
