5.1-magnitude quake hits Lara-Portuguesa region, Venezuela

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Lara-Portuguesa region, Venezuela at 15:08:50 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, Trend reports citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 9.5007 degrees north latitude and 69.9148 degrees west longitude.
